Group Support

What can group support help with?

Sometimes the challenges we face can feel isolating, and it may be difficult to talk about our experiences with others. Group support offers a safe and supportive space where people can come together, share experiences, and learn from one another.
Being part of a therapeutic group can help individuals feel less alone while gaining insight into their thoughts, emotions, and patterns of behaviour. Listening to others with similar experiences can offer new perspectives, encourage personal growth, and support the development of healthier coping strategies.
At Arare Healing Hub, we offer professionally facilitated group sessions for between five and twelve participants. These sessions provide a compassionate and structured environment where individuals can explore emotional difficulties, improve communication, and build supportive connections with others.
Group support can be particularly helpful for people experiencing challenges such as Depression, Anxiety and Relationship difficulty.

What to Expect from Group Support

Our group support sessions at Arare Healing Hub are designed to provide a safe, structured, and supportive space for members to explore challenges together. Sessions can take place in person, with seating arranged in a circle to promote connection, or online for those who prefer a virtual format.

During a typical session, you can expect:

  • Introductions: Each member shares who they are, their reasons for attending, and their goals for the group.

  • Setting Ground Rules: The group agrees on guidelines to create a safe, respectful, and confidential environment.

  • Sharing Experiences: Members have the opportunity to discuss challenges, progress, and insights in a supportive setting.

  • Skill Practice: Participants can try out new coping strategies, communication skills, or other exercises with guidance from the facilitator.

  • Confidentiality: All discussions remain within the group to ensure trust and safety.

A trained facilitator guides each session, supporting the group in exploring relationships, emotions, and personal growth while encouraging meaningful connection and practical skill-building.

Facilitated Support for Families and Existing Groups

Are you part of a family, friendship circle, or established group that is finding it difficult to navigate relationships during challenging life transitions?

Situations such as work pressures, illness, stress, marriage, divorce, grief, loss, or major life changes can sometimes place strain on relationships. Cultural expectations, family roles, intergenerational differences, values, and migration experiences may also create misunderstandings or tension between people who care about one another.

A facilitated session can provide a safe and structured space for members of an existing group to explore these dynamics together. With the support of a trained facilitator, the group can work towards improving communication, deepening understanding, and developing healthier ways of relating.

If your family or group would like support in navigating these challenges together, please enquire to discuss arranging a tailored session with Arare Healing Hub.
